Creating shortcuts to specific tabs of Control Panel applets

To create a shortcut to a specific tab, you can add the number of the tab to the command, in this format:

C:\Winnt\Control.exe ???.cpl,x

Where ??? stands for the name of a particular .cpl file, and x stands for the number of a tab.  The tabs are numbered from left to right starting with 0.

For example: To create a shortcut to the System applet, opening with the Hardware tab, the shortcut would be C:\Winnt\System32\Control.exe Sysdm.cpl,2

For the Audio tab of the Sounds and Multimedia Properties applet, the shortcut would be: C:\Winnt\System32\control.exe mmsys.cpl,,1

For the Input locales tab of the Keyboard control panel, the shortcut would be: C:\Winnt\System32\control.exe main.cpl,keyboard,1.
