
The Startup menu is empty when Windows is first installed. It exists so that if there are any programs that you require to start automatically when you first switch on the computer, a shortcut to the program placed here will start it. Some programs that you install will place a shortcut here for you, others you may have to add yourself.

This is another shortcut to Internet Explorer. There is already one on the Start menu, but you can configure that icon for another program if you want to.
MSN Explorer is allegedly a piece of all-in-one software for browsing the Internet, communicating with people, managing finances, listening to music, shopping and other Internet activities.
