The All Programs Menu

The All Programs menu contains shortcuts for the programs which are installed on your computer. Some of the shortcuts point to further submenus containing more program icons. These icons have the black arrowhead, which was described earlier, indicating a submenu.

Log Off

The Log Off icon allows you to Switch Users, while staying logged on yourself, or to log off to allow another user to log on. If you choose the Switch User option, all of your currently running programs keep running. If you choose the Log off option, windows closes all open files to prevent loss of data, closes all programs and network connections, then presents the Log on dialog box for you or another user to log on.
