My Network Places


If your computer belongs to a network, you use the My Network Places option to browse the other computers attached to your network.

 

Control Panel option


The Control Panel option opens a window with options to change the appearance and functionality of the computer, set up network connections and add or remove programs.

 

Help and Support


The Help icon opens a dialog box, which shows help topics, tutorials, troubleshooting and other support.

 

Search


The Search option opens a window where you can search for files, folders, or computers. It allows you to search your own computer or even the internet.

 

Run…


The Run… option allows you to run programs using DOS style commands. Clicking the Run… option opens up a small dialog box with a field where you can type the name of a program, folder, document or a network computer. Click the OK button and Windows will find and open that item for you.
